Mustapha is a member of the British Heart Foundation (BHF), RSAG (Research Strategy Advisory Group) and has contributed to several BHF projects.
Until recently, he ran his own International Consultancy business in Strategy, Operations and Leadership. Prior to this, he held Vice-President and Director Roles with large Global companies. He has worked in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Middle East and Africa.
He is a leadership and entrepreneurship mentor with a number of organisations and charities both in the UK and internationally. In this role, he has mentored and supported many leaders and entrepreneurs across the UK, Middle East and Africa.
He is deeply passionate about healthcare and is surrounded by family members and close friends who work in healthcare. He is also a Public Governor of the NHS Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust.
Mustapha has three strong beliefs: our purpose is to benefit the patients and the public, “look after the people who look after the patients/public”; and simple conversational English in our communication.
