James Farrell


James is an Early Career Health Data Scientist and provides data management and curation support within Trusted Research Environments (TREs).


Prior to joining the BHF Data Science Centre, James was a postdoctoral data scientist at the Centre for Medical Informatics, University of Edinburgh where he was the lead data analyst on several COVID-19 projects.

James has an engineering background with a PhD from the University of Edinburgh where he investigated the relationship between spinal deformity and lung function.
