Overview:
In this webinar, we welcomed Dr Tim Wilkinson, a Clinical Research Fellow in Neurology at the University of Toronto, Canada, and an honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, UK. His research interests surround the use of routine health data to study the causes and consequences of dementia, using a combination of novel health data science techniques and traditional epidemiological methods. Tim discussed antipsychotic prescribing and mortality in people with dementia before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
