Role:
Samaira is the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Manager for the BHF Data Science Centre and leads the implementation of the PPIE Strategy to work in partnership with patients, the public, NHS, researchers and clinicians.
Credentials:
Prior to joining HDR UK, Samaira worked for NIHR as the Public Involvement Lead for the Research Design Service providing support and specialist advice to researchers submitting grant applications to nationally peer reviewed funding streams.
Samaira also chaired and supported various public involvement groups and has an interest in inclusive, diverse public involvement.
