Role:
Kate delivers the BHF Data Science Centre’s communications and events strategy for research and science and contributes to the delivery of HDR UK’s communications strategy.
Credentials:
Kate joined the BHF Data Science Centre after a 5 year stint as PR and Media Manager for Medicine at the University of Edinburgh.
Kate has a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Cambridge and worked in industry and at the MRC Dementias Platform UK before focusing on science communication.
She is a recipient of the Royal Society of Biology Science Communication Award and enjoys weaving engaging stories from the exciting science carried out here at the BHF Data Science Centre.
